Set within an Indigenous community in southern Mexico, Otilia follows a young girl confronting the possibility of a forced marriage while quietly longing for education, freedom, and a life of her own.

Through naturalistic performances and an intimate, atmospheric visual language, the film explores the tension between tradition, autonomy, and education through the perspective of a girl beginning to find her own voice.
